wisdom and motivation

"yes or no, no try-try"
this is the quote that my uncle lives by and the thing about him, he's a successful person. he's an electrical engineer, working in NY and he was an alumni of Purdue University in Indianapolis (one of the top school in US). ok, now how can we relate success with the quote? what's that quote even mean?

"yes or no, no try-try" is matter of fact an attitude that works in mind and of act. when you say 'yes' you must put that yes in your mind and in your act. and when you say 'no' you must be firm that you won't get involved in that thing and won't even try to. and there is no such thing, 'i will try to make it there'.

the quote can also link up with dedication towards your motive and purpose. in other words, for example, the motive you go to school is to learn and for that you will learn as hard and act like it. your exam results will be the outcome that shows you are really or not at all (no barely, either success or fail) put it to work. other example, when someone asks you to meet him somewhere today and you said yes (never give unsure statement, e.g. if nothing happens i'll be there). you set that mark point and when it is time, you are there sharp, and not even a second to despair.

last but not least, yes or no to commitment and integrity in joining a system or organisation. when you are part of the members, you must be part of it generally. there is no such thing to become just a bit here and there and if that occurs, it might as well be a 'no' all along.

to conclude, it all based on our own will to really make it or just simply fail it. every successful one has their own story, create your own, and be an inspire to others.
